Problem Note 19615: Component jobs created manually in SAS® IT Resource Manager 3.1 and then added to the overall job might not execute when expected
The Adapter Setup Wizard in SAS® IT Resource Management 3.1 creates
separate component jobs and an overall job that contains all the
component jobs. The Adapter Setup Wizard also establishes the order in
which all of these jobs execute.
However, if you create a job manually and attempt to add it to the
overall job, it might be difficult to control the order in which the
component jobs execute. This problem also occurs when you add jobs to
other manually created jobs.
You can avoid this problem by keeping the jobs separate rather than
adding them to other jobs. Instead, use your site's system scheduling
utility to execute the jobs in the desired order.
